It is what it is

It is what it is

The title of this work, "It Is What It Is," reflects the acceptance of failure and the beauty that can still be found in the outcome. The vase is made of white porcelain and gold lustre, which are traditionally associated with elegance and perfection. However, the vase is broken, which represents the imperfection of life. The text from the poem "Es Ist Was Es Ist" by Erich Fried reinforces this message, as it speaks of the importance of accepting life as it is, even when it is not perfect.
